SDB was selected by Valley Metro to install 26 stations, transit signal priority, queue jump lanes, and dynamic message display signs along the new Bus Rapid Transit route in Mesa, Arizona. The BRT functions as a 12.5 mile long extension to the light rail system.
Implementation of signal priority and queue jump lanes required coordination with several agencies and departments, including Valley Metro's CAD/AVL system managers and will include installation of transit-only signals at many intersections.
