SDB, a family-owned business, was incorporated in Arizona in November of 1980.
In 1981, SDB landed a small office renovation job for Motorola, Inc. While at the facility, SDB recognized the intensive amount of on-going construction and decided to focus their resources in the cleanroom manufacturing environment. SDB went on to become the Valley's Most Recognized Cleanroom Contractor, five years in a row (Ranking Arizona Business Magazine) working for clients such as Motorola, STMicroelectronics, On-Semiconductor, Rodel Corporation and the world's largest chip manufacturer. SDB has performed projects ranging from complete new fabrication facilities, such as Motorola's MOS 21M, an $80 million, 40,000 square foot, class 10 cleanroom; to modest $100 door hardware repairs.
As SDB continues past its third decade and beyond, we continue to seek out clients that demand a general contractor that can deliver a project on time, with quality and competitiveness never being sacrificed.
SDB has continued to expand its services since 1991. Our markets include:
- Job Order Contracting (JOC)
- Construction Manager @ Risk (CMAR)
- Healthcare & Hospital Facilities
- Parks & Recreational Facilities
- Educational Facilities
- Aviation Facilities
